Version History

2011-06-16: ProCANopen 6.5

New Features:

Saving attribute values in CAN databases
Signal attributes that have been created are now also saved in the CAN
databases. When creating the EDS files with the CANeds EDS editor that
is included with the product, you can input signal attributes in the EDS
file (in XML format) such as the factor, offset or units. ProCANopen
automatically copies the signal attributes contained in the EDS file
when creating the database. This enables direct display of physical
signal values in the Trace Window.

Cycle times and value tables in CAN databases
ProCANopen enters the cycle times of periodic messages such as PDOs,
Heartbeat or SYNC messages in the database. This lets you use CANoe or
CANalyzer to monitor the cycle time of a message. When saving SDOs,
Emergency or NMT messages, value tables are now saved, which include
the names of all nodes contained in the network. You could then quickly
and easily view, in the Trace Window, which network nodes a specific
NMT command was sent to, for example.
